Oka' is the Chickasaw and Choctaw term for water. It's native roots resonate with the importance of Oka' in our future.
Oka' The Water Institute is focused on problems impacting our local and state water resources. Our research is driven by embracing the interests of the people to promote economic development and long-term sustainability. Our ultimate goal is to provide practical water solutions that lead to a better quality of life for all.
