The City of Ada Grassland Restoration Project demonstrates the power of collaboration in conserving Oklahoma's natural resources. Through funding from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Oka' Institute is partnering with the Chickasaw Nation and the City of Ada to restore over 2,000 acres of native grasslands. This work focuses on improving ecosystem health, increasing biodiversity, reducing woody encroachment, and creating more resilient landscapes through strategic land stewardship.
