The Oka’ Institute proudly celebrates Caleb Biles, GIS Analyst, who was recently recognized by the Chickasaw Nation with the Habitat Conservation Award for his leadership and excellence in conservation data management and mapping applications. This distinguished recognition highlights Caleb’s commitment to advancing innovative, data-driven tools that support land and water sustainability across the region.
As part of the Oka’ Institute team, Caleb has played an essential role in developing geospatial systems that empower decision-makers with accurate, accessible, and forward-looking information. His mapping expertise has strengthened efforts in watershed planning, infrastructure assessment, and conservation strategy—helping communities better understand the connections between land use, water quality, and long-term ecosystem health.
